Who are you and what makes you a food expert?
Ho! Never said I was an expert. Just a person who loves to cook. I have been cooking for a long time, have been told by at least 2 people (other than my family) that what I cook ain't too bad, and have never made anyone sick from my cooking! (that I know of) I guess you can call me a Food Lover!

What is your favorite food?
That is a tough one! I would say it would be "a buffet" If I had to narrow it down, it would have to be pizza. Again too many varities to pick a favorite. I will say that a double box of Chef-Boyardee that you can add different toppings to and create a buffet-o-pizza might be it. Have the kids help decorate the pies add a movie and it makes for a perfect meal (try groung beef, sliced hotdogs, and sliced onions) "fantastic"

How do you get all of the BBQ sauce out of the bottle?
Thats easy! I just add a couple of tablespoons of a thinner liquid to the bottle, shake the bottle real good and turn upside down for a few minutes. Then mix it in with the rest of the sauce. The liquid I use depends on the flavor of sauce I want. Water will do but I use vinegar or if I want to add heat, I use red pepper sauce. You could also use lemon juice, beer, or whiskey.

What does the perfect snack platter consist of?
That's a loaded question! I think is should be different for each party or event. If your party has a theme, that will dictate what goes on it. A backyard BBQ, a football tailgate, and a dinner party with a few good friends would all be different. There are staples such as cheeses, meats, veggies, and crackers but try to be creative. Try to show off your favorites, help others to find new favorites. Build it to fit your guests and/or party theme.

Where does your inspiration come from?
It simply comes from a combination of a craving and what is in the pantry at the time and then it evolves from there.

When did you first start cooking and why?
At about the age of 8 or 9 years old and out of necessity. Back then it was mostly packaged foods or simple recipes. I grew up aroung cooking all my life. With my parents owning everything from a commercial bakery to a resturant and pub, I just grew up loving food. Even back in the packaged food days I always thought I could do it better by changing things a little or adding a little something special.
